Volunteer For Milford Funday

Homecare's charity committee, ICARE are joining forces with Milford Community Development Association to have a "Fun Day" in Milford, Armagh for all ages on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th August.

Restoring the Community Centre for All…

We are raising money for the local community centre "The Old School House" (across the road from Callan House) which is a listed building and needs renovated. When it is restored, there will be lots of activities there including:

* An older person’s luncheon

* Dance hall

* A coffee area

* Room for pilates and yoga and mother and toddler groups

Homecare will also be able to use it as a training venue. It will be a facility for all ages to enjoy.

Any Talented Family Members?

If you or any of your families are members of bands (modern or traditional) or are part of any dancing group (any age) e.g. Irish dancing, line dancing etc. – we will need some talent for the stage on the day - it would be great if you could join in. The day will be about having some fun and helping out others at the same time.

We Urgently Require Volunteers…

We would appreciate it if you are free that day to either attend with your family or friends to offer your support and enjoy the day or to even volunteer for a few hours to help out. The committee is organising T-shirts and Jackets for all our volunteers and we will also be having a BBQ for all the volunteers on the night of 29th to thank everyone for all the hard work.

If you would like to offer your assistance in any way either as part of the organising committee or to do some hours on the day please:
